The steps of shoe evolution! With over 200 pairs of shoes on show from sandals dating back to ancient Egypt, to some of the most recent designs from contemporary designers, this amazing display is a feast for the eyes! High Spirits: The Comic Art of Thomas Rowlandson
The Queen’s Gallery, Buckingham Palace, London
Thomas Rowlandson (1757–1827) was a famous caricaturist who’s humorous perception of the goings on at the turn of the 19th century have been well documented and are available to see. The exhibition is certainly worth a visit.
