With over 200 pairs of shoes on show from sandals dating back to ancient Egypt, to some of the most recent designs from contemporary designers, this amazing display is a feast for the eyes! High Spirits: The Comic Art of Thomas Rowlandson
The Queen’s Gallery, Buckingham Palace, London
Thomas Rowlandson (1757–1827) was a famous caricaturist who’s humorous perception of the goings on at the turn of the 19th century have been well documented and are available to see. The exhibition is certainly worth a visit.
